Default Another TV Wannabe

Can anyone tell me if an Antique Car would be accepted into TV Classic Car Club? Or is their an Antique Car Club in TV already?

Only 3++ years to go and it can't come soon enough......

Thanks,
Wayne from Maine

I would not see why not. I have attended a couple of cruise-ins at TV and have posted some pictures here on the board. Try this link. https://www.talkofthevillages.com/fo...hp?albumid=129

You will not see too many pictures of the true antique's but that does not mean that they were not there. I had to limit the number of pictures I could post but I did take a lot more and there were some beautiful antiques there.

You can also get to the picture section by clicking on the "Quick Link" tab in the solid blue line at the top of the page. Scroll down to "All Albums" and click on that and you will be in the picture album section. Now scroll down until you see the car pictures.

Enjoy

Thanks Hawkwind for the reply. Really great pictures.

This is a great site for TV information. In just the few weeks that I've been reading all the info it's obvious that the people in the Villages are the friendliest people anywhere. My wife and I are really looking forward to living there.
Thanks again,
Wayne

We accept antique people, why not antique cars?

Wayne:

The Villages Vintage Car Club accepts members without out cars who just love old cars. To be included at the SS cruise in the car has to be pre 1980.
I am a member of The Vintage Car Club.

I have attached a link to our site.

Thanks for the info and the link to the clubs website. I have a 1929 Chevrolet Coach which has been completely restored back to it's original condition. I'm looking forward to being a member when we finally make it to TV (only 3+ years to go).

Do you bring your car to the corner store on alternate Mondays ? We have been to a cruise in at Spanish Springs and there are lots of nice old cars there.

We haven't yet, but we did bring the car to Summah Daze in Sanford last year. I need the brakes adjusted a little before I take it to far again. I'm glad to see their are really great car shows in and around TV.
