YouTube versus CNN...yep, that's compelling. It's sad that so many Americans are brainwashed by Fox, the registered entertainment only channel, and that obese drug addicted sex offender, Rush Limbaugh.

I voted for Mitch Daniels in November and have very little use for Trump but I do understand why he was elected. CNN and MSNBC are simply following the model Fox News used during Obama years. CNN and MSNBC both, almost 24/7, interview guests that criticize everything Trump says or does. My routine in morning is listen to local news around 6 and then channel surf the “news” shows and almost surely CNN and MSNBC is bashing Trump and Fox is singing his praises. Market share drives what is reported. If anyone believes this is for anything but advertising dollars they need to stand back a couple steps and see what our once vital “watchdog media” has become. Bring back AlJazeera.

The manner in which they address the moral questions is proven to predict their inability to answer the empirical ones. This is so because they are so preoccupied with the jittery pokery of "Trumpisms " that they neglect to inform citizens of the real threats both foreign and domestic.

If you were honest with yourself you would admit this country has never been in so much chaos, both foreign and domestic, in many years. What event has caused such significant international threats? The election of Trump. Globally, governments do not trust Trump and many openly scorn him. North Korea feels empowered to issue more and more threats, Iran laughs in our face, England, France, and Germany refuse to be coupled with our foreign policy. Outrage and pushback from Trump's war with the First Amendment, as well as acknowledgement of his constant lying, undermine this country. That's to say nothing about his personal moral behavior (Trump University, stealing from a kid's cancer charity, shutdown of his foundation due to fraud, and many other shady business practices).

For over 40 years I have managed television newsrooms and consulted the networks. For President Trump to write, "Network news has become so partisan, distorted and fake that licenses must be challenged and, if appropriate, revoked. Not fair to public!" is insulting.

The rigorous way each story is checked and rechecked for accuracy before being broadcast is part of the way the networks are critical of what they air each day. Everything that goes out to the public is sourced or attributed.

Instead of trying to silence anyone who becomes critical of the administration why not get down to business in dealing with nuclear threats, millions without power, a budget train wreck, taxes, education, healthcare and our infrastructure.
