I ran to my book by Dana Perino where she described the tears and anguish Bush faced with families. I know, while not supporting his policies, that OBama, with heartfelt tears and sympathy dealt with families. Clarification! My ONLY intent was an objection to the hearsay-ness of the reporting. And the "...sounds like he was saying..." commentary, that has been immediately/readily accepted as what was actually said/heard.

No one has challenged anybody's standing on what they view as facts.

I beg to differ with you again on your continual interpretation of what constitutes defending or standing silent or not.
