I have to believe this is bait, but I can’t help myself. The economy is deficiet spending strong, not a damn thing to do with Trump. Now the stock market is reacting to Trump because of even more deficit spending and an unpaid for tax cut for all. That said most people on this forum don’t believe that so you will get a lot of support. IMO

Sounds to me like the poster is not in the stock market. The market is in the second longest streak in history, about 110 months of it. Trump can take credit for the last few months, but not the last 8 years...that part belongs to Obama. Personally, I cashed out last month. Markets go up...and they also go down. If Republicans are successful with their tax cuts and people buy their BS that it will personally affect them, the market will continue to go up. If Congress doesn't get their act together by year end, the markets will tank. I'm waiting it out.

Just admit it, you have absolutely no clue as to what the markets have done for the last 9 years...or even the ability to have an original thought.

Not to mention...Wayne Allyn Root?

Really?

The FED policies are the primer for holding up the stock market which has been good primarily for the 1%. Conversely the FED non-existent interest rates have been bad for the average guy ( yes those posting in this thread)and has been bad for the bond market. The lack of interest rates has created less savings
in this nation.

An explanation for the sudden uptick in the market has been explained by Trump's rapid removal of much of the regulation of business Obama passed by fiat. This they claim explains the increase of 3% growth in the last two quarters when Obama experts said the new norm would always be between 1.5% and 2.0%

Powell is said to be Trump's pick for the FED. If so I will be disappointed as my choice would have been John Taylor (Taylor Rule). Actually I would abolish the FED

I have never understood the #NeverTrump thing because it would seem that given self-preservation alone people would hope that whoever was president s/he would succeed because it benefited us all?

But here we are

Personal Best Regards;

The Fed is keeping the economy afloat...along with the stock market...by injecting over $4 trillion into the markets over the last 8 years.

The government keeps the economy afloat with deficit borrowing of over $1 trillion each year. That's over $3,000 per EVERY man woman and child...every year.

It's a fake economy being help up by borrowing. America is bankrupt. We owe $20 trillion, we go over $1 trillion deeper in the hole every year. We're becoming a minority majority...America is done, finished, within 30 years. It's a mathematical certainty. Like predicting interest payments on a mortgage.

To your last point....

I assume that you rooted loudly for the last President.

BUT.....those who oppose Trump are the true patriots. Those who oppose Trump realize that a bubble of gain in the market cannot hold up a presidency founded on lies. It cannot work and will not work.

You cannot sit in the oval office, make daily accusations lie to the country and created havoc each and every day with your mouth, embarrass us in front of the world, and survive.

Those who oppose Trump are for telling the truth, and there is only ONE truth and it is based on reality and not an egoist reality show host.

If you support lying from the presidency then are you a anti-american. It is pretty simple and can be validated...his lies are legion.

YOU support them all, you idolize HIM and thus you have zero credibility except with the trolls from the alt right white nationalist extremists.

I always felt they would suddenly realize he has not changed as so many hoped, but in reading posts on here talking about "variations in truth" and spouting the conspiracy theories from Fox and other websites, leads me to believe that these posters are simply a member of the alt right extremist white nationalist movement, and as such need to be treated no differently that we treat Baldwin etc.

When you demean the free press...not disagree with opinions, but personally attack the media each day...who support total and complete deceit from the White House, then you are lost. You are now in the anti-american groups

Trump discovered that the way it is done in Washington is to not worry about the check book balance, throw away the budget, and not to worry about the spending.

A tradition that Obama took to new heights shadowing any POTUS before him.

And now the hypocrites who were silent then are boisterous now.

I do not recall all that silence at all. I do recall the debacle of a financial crisis and how that played havoc with out budget.

You have got to stop blaming Obama for everything and step up and face facts.

Trump is not and never was a conservative. i am a conservative......but an american before that. I opposed much of Obama spending but did read on the whys...still disagreed on much of it, but we now have a President who calls himself the "king of debt" and is being so irresponsible, his own party is raising eyebrows at his spending and spending cuts.

I always laugh when I hear people say that the stock market doing well only benefits the wealthy. Do people who say this remember the crash of 1920 or the other downturns in the stock market. The market is directly tied to jobs. The health of the stock market affects everyone.
