Default Recycling junk mail

I bring all my mail home to recycle. I wonder why people don't.

Why doesn't TV put recycling bins at the postal stations?

People might use for dog poop? They feel like most will take it home and shred it? There would be a mountain of old phone books? Who knows?

I open all the junk mail, if they have prepaid envelopes I mix all these up and put them in each others envelope and put them back in the mail. I make sure my name is not on any of the junk mail. This does a few things, now they have to dispose of it, it wastes their prepaid postage, it makes me happy

Junk mail gets so overwhelming but your solution helps keep the Postal Service employees employed.

The answer is for the Government to start charging junk mail postage at a rate that equals the actual cost to deliver it. Until then, I will dispose of the mail in the nearest trash can. My postal station has 5 trash cans. If not for junk mail, then why are they there?
