Default One Year In...

In the last 12 months, the country experienced, well, quite a lot. Federal courts have axed multiple versions of Trump’s travel, a.k.a. Muslim, ban, the White House has been engulfed in a seemingly neverending drip of Russia scandal turmoil, Congress appears deadlocked on every major administration-backed initiative, there’s been a sloppily handled nuclear standoff with North Korea, equivocation over the murder of a protester by a neo-Nazi…

[Deep breath]

…the president has clashed with the family and friends of a fallen soldier, he accused a top Democrat of facilitating a terror attack in New York, he has relentlessly feuded with various political and personal enemies, and there has been unprecedented staff turnover at the highest levels of the administration.

What the country hasn’t seen is a major legislative achievement.

Default The Russians ARE Coming....

...but there's no wall to keep them out.

Mueller's investigation is getting closer to the impeachment of Donald John Trump or maybe his resignation. Democratic lawmaker: We might have to file articles of impeachment against Trump - CNNPolitics

Why would I mention what happened under Obama when you started a thread about Trump?

Because you were insinuating your retirement account increase was a function of the Trump economy, when in fact it is a function of the Obama economy. Obama's fiscal year just ended a month ago.

The first sentence of your OP "In the last 12 months, the country experienced, well, quite a lot."

Please don't try to read more into my reply than there really is.. I was only commenting on what happened over the past 12 months. You set the parameters not me..

Insinuating means one did not actually say or mean to say what ever is being interpreted as insinuation.

Anyway.....anybody who thinks the stock market movement is a function of who sits in the WH needs to do a reality check.

I remember anecdotal comments when Obama was in the WH that everytime he left the WH the stock market advanced.

We all need to keep thinking our team is the winner....NO MATTER WHAT!
And too many have the Pelosi approach to politics "....if it comes from the other party I am against it...".
