Default A simple question

On the front page of today's Village Sun there is an Associated Press article entitled "Federal Deficit Surges". It portrays some of the ominous consequences of Washington's unbridled, runaway spending. It says that economists "warn about the seeds of another economic crisis" unless hard decisions about spending cuts and raising taxes are implemented.

The simple question. Why are Congress and the White House pursuing a Health-Care or Medical Insurance initiative that will cost over 2 trillion dollars (Harry Reid's recent acknowledgement) at a time when the country needs fiscal restraint to fix its own economic health?

Because Obama wants another crisis. The more crisis you have the more government can move to take over and the more dependent people become. Simple as that. That's always been the plan. There is no other conclusion one can come to.

Why don't we compare the deficit at the start of the Bush Administration to the deficit at the end of the Bush Administration.

Then compare the deficit at the beginning of the Obama Administration till now.

What would we find?

This was for sure a sobering article. What we are deeper in depth than we have been in our previous 200 year history combined ? Yes and then the slip of the tongue by Reid. Boy are we in deep doo doo. We can't get rid of these clowns fast enough.
