Wanted to send out a quick update. The movers will arrive in the AM & they will load the tractor trailer. I will arrive in TV on 11/6 and I can't wait, flying in. I won't have a computer for a little while, because I need to find out from "you" what the best way to go is - comcast or what?

I will also need advise on buying a good flat screen TV for my LR. I am thinking around 42" or a little smaller. Any suggestions on which manufacturer to buy and where to get it???

My computer gets packed up tomorrow, so this will probably be my last post until I get settled. Looking forward to hearing from Kathie, Jeannie, and nONIE, Kate, Whatlen, Dicky and after I arrive.

Are there any other "PHANtastic Pennecampers" out there??

Have a great trip Betty! The worst is behind you and now the fun begins.
In answer to your questions, I used Comcast and got the full package for the phone, computer and TV and so far so good. I am sure there are tons of stores around that I do not yet know about, but Best Buy is close and they have tons of flat screen TV's at very reasonable prices.
Smooth sailing from here on Betty. My only suggestion would be to get here before dark if possible, we had the wrong directions and were lost for an hour and a half lol you soon!

Good luck on your move. When you get here you can go to the library and they have computors to use at no cost.
We checked our e-mail and such before we got our service hooked up.

Have a great trip. I have Comcast and have been happy with their packages. If you have a Sam's club card they have great prices on flat screen TVs. If you want Hi-def get one with 1080P resolution.

Regarding the flat screen TV, timing is everything. Thanksgiving isn't far off and there will be plenty of Black Friday specials.
