The first time I went to Europe I had this idea that being an American I was coming from the greatest, most advanced country in the world and I was quite shocked. The Europeans were far more advanced in many areas than we were. It was a humbling experience.

Much less bureaucracy. While partisan they do not let it affect the good of the country to the extent of the USA.
