Default Termite Insurance

It's time to renew my termite protection or so states the flier that I got from my termite protection company. I was wondering, how long does termite protection last. My home is new, purchased on January 20 of 2009. I assume that the soil was treated for termites. How often does it have to be retreated? The cost for the additional insurance is not much at $100, but I was wondering if the cost is really worth it.

There are different types of termite protection plans. There are different types of termite protection. Costs also differ. I would talk to at least 3 companies and listen carefully to what each says. If you are not comfortable with any of them, pick some more. There are a lot of them.

I am sending you a PM naming the company I use.
