I've just booked Village Movers. Were your movers from Ocala or Fruitland Park ?

Fruitland Park should be the real company.

The fact that they are not answering their phone is of course a bad sign.

Hopefully, you did not give them much of a deposit, If, you gave them a deposit on a credit card call the card company immediately and they may be able to recover your money.

Our police dept has a section, CRIMES AGAINST SENIORS,
yiou should report it and supply copies of any paperwork you have.

Not your problem but VILLAGE MOVERS. Their business has been damaged by this DIRTBAG. .

That's the one I booked. They did provide a copy of their insurance, etc. so I'm just going to take a deep breath and trust.

The original Village Movers with the black trucks is the one I booked, too, to move my mother from an assisted living facility back home. They showed up 2 hours late and I was the one who had to call to see where they were. We have not had one good local mover since we moved down here!

We had a very good experience with the REAL Village Movers. On time, polite, careful and no damage. If I had seen anything I didn’t like, I would have fired them on the spot. I have no problem doing that.
