Default Bellawood Brazilian cherry floor... advice

3/4" x 2-1/4" Brazilian Cherry - BELLAWOOD | Lumber Liquidators

This sale $3.69, ends Monday, tomorrow. Need about 1000 Sq feet for two bedrooms and Living Room. The reviews are all over the place.

Is this any good? Also need recommendations for an Installer.

We have it. It is beautiful, it is also very soft and dent/scratches very easily. Because of this I advise against it.

I would not trust anything from Lumber Liquidators to be honest. They have had issues with Chinese flooring - see below

Lumber Liquidators Agrees To Not Resume Sales of Inventory of Chinese-Made Laminate Flooring, Continue Comprehensive Testing Program As Part of a Recall to Test | CPSC.gov

I have had very good luck with Home Depot Laminate over the years, including our condo flooring last year

We had this product from LL's before moving to The Villages. Beautiful floor. I loved it. Be advised that Brazilian Cherry changes color after being exposed to the light. It is still pretty but if you use rugs or move your furniture around it will be noticeable for awhile until the newly exposed areas have a chance to oxidize evenly. We did have problems with LL trying to say some problems we experienced were the installer's liability not theirs. It was a game they were playing that they eventually corrected when we stopped payment through our credit card company. As beautiful as I thought the floor was I wouldn't get again. I would also be cautious of Lumber Liquidators. Here we used Nickel Tile and couldn't be happier with the service they provided.

Here is an example of someone who is completely off base. First the flooring is not a laminate. Second it is not from China. Surprisingly it is in fact from Brazil as the name indicates. This is the equivalent of staying I would not buying solid American Oak flooring made under contract by Bruce Flooring- or some other large firm -simply because it was sold by a certain retailer.
