Thumbs up A Quiet Place (2018). Excellent Horror Movie.

A Quiet Place (2018) - Rotten Tomatoes

One of the best horror movies I have seen in years with the exception of Get Out.

Worst movie I have ever seen. So glad I had Movie Pass. Would have been really annoyed to have paid $8.50 for that awful movie. Friend who went with me, agreed !!

Hated the movie. I mean what a yawner. I am my own best critic.

To each their own of course...Movies always a matter of taste and perspective...but AQP is a super hit and has been in top 5 movies for a month. I saw it just after release, then again a week after.

My quick review from 4/17>

A Quiet Place - 4.5/5 stars. Saw twice. Only 6 actors in cast. Star and Directed by John Krasinski, with wife Emily Blunt. Scary in parts - CGI creatures, only 3. But the most scary part for me was her walking down the stairs - nothing to do with monsters but I still cringe. People actually gasped in the theater. Interesting storyline, keeping interest on-the-edge-of-you-seat thruout.

Twice. Not sure if I could handle this movie twice in that span of time. I did see The Greatest Showman twice in that short a space of time. Really liked the music.

I found the movie A Quiet Place very original, well acted and well written.

I thought AQP was very good. Found it interesting that the young girl is hearing impaired in real life. I thought it was well done. Enjoyed it.

I have no pity for those people who should know by now...NEVER walk down a set of stairs into the dark.
