Default Villages Pet Adoption Day at Colony Cottage Rec. Ctr.

Don't forget to come by Colony Cottage Rec. Center at the adjacent gazebo to the Villages Pet Adoption from 11am-1pm this Friday, June 15th. Meet some of the great adoptable dogs of the Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County, weather permitting. We're at rotating Vlgs. Rec. Ctrs. every 3rd Friday each month.
If you can't make it then, consider yourself invited to visit our shelter at 994 CR 529A in Lake Panasoffkee Mon.-Sat. or scroll through our website
Adopt Pet | Central Fl | Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County,FL to view the many dogs (and cats) ready to find their forever homes! Dogs and cats available from Sumter County Animal Services (SCAS) are also visible on our website as well as our sister page Rescue Me Sumter County Florida.
If its feline fur-ever love you're looking for, we have them at our shelter, and showcased at Petco of Lady Lake and the new PetSmart of Oxford/The Villages.
(Dogs shown in photo are not necessarily the ones up for adoption.)
2018's remaining Villages Monthly Pet Adoption Calendar:
July 20 Laurel Manor Rec Center
August 17 Paradise Recreation Center
September 21 Rohan Recreation Center
October 19th Dwight D Eisenhower Recreation Center
November 16 Mulberry Grove Recreation Center
December 21 Seabreeze Recreation Center

FYI, your hyperlink is not working. The code you inserted was: http://%3Cb%3Ewww.hsspca.org%3C/b%3E, when it should be: Adopt Pet | Central Fl | Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County,FL

Thank you! I had not realized that one wasn't the correct one. I'll try to correct it in the original post. Claudia

Volunteer Claudia - Bless you for bringing this to our attention.
Rescue dogs make great pets.

I rescued Baxter over a year ago (that is Bax in my avatar).

I already have two rescues...for those considering, please adopt an older dog. Everybody wants young dogs, but older dogs are housebroken, calm, don't chew up your shoes and grateful.
We are all older, we all want a good end, give them one.

Baxter is a very cool dog.

One dog is more than enough for us but if others have more room and the inclination, maybe your pooch needs some company?

You're welcome! And thank you all for adopting a shelter pet! PS-If anyone is interested in having a guest speaker at local clubs or groups, we welcome the opportunity to share info on the work we do throughout Sumter County. Please feel free to reach out to us at 352-793-9117 or info@hsspca.org.

Unfortunately we're at full capacity, otherwise I'd be adopting another rescue!
A month after we adopted Baxter from Max's Pet Connection, we rehomed a wonderful golden doodle.
The dogs play well together, even though Bax weighs 9 lbs and the golden doodle weighs 60 lbs.
