Default Fourth of July

We are coming down in July (mainly to check on our house and to weed - oops - different topic) and I'm wondering if there are fireworks in the Villages. I see that the squares have some good entertainment lined up. Curious what else goes on here on the 4th.
Have a great day!

There are no fireworks in the villages. Leesburg is probably the closest

Leesburg and Mt. Dora are the closest. Then there is Orlando.

Last year the cheerleaders and baton twirlers did a little show at the square (SS is where I went but it is probably similar for the other squares too) and there were stilt walkers who are fun to take photos with (Miss Liberty and Uncle Sam) along with great music.

The only fireworks set off in TV are illegal by some @$$ hats with no regard for veterans or pets.

So true. My MIL shaking the storm door handle to call the cat in at night made my husband sit bolt upright in bed after he came home from Vietnam.

And the poor dogs...

My husband's over it; our dog is not.The Villages Florida
