Thumbs down Snow or sleet this am

Well I can't believe but it happened. For those who weren't up early enough it was either light snow or sleet this AM. The roofs were white and no it wasn't frost. It was coming down and actually you could see foot printsin the lite crusting on the sidewalk. Oh well I guess we can't call it the land of NO anymore. Next weekend we'll be back in the pool according to the 10 day look ahead.

Ahhh 2010, I will fondly remember it as the year I paid a big gas bill in two states

The Villages Florida

I know, I know, you have 100 inches of snow and it is -34...

Based on some of the construction things I have read, should I shovel my roof to get the weight off?

Default Am I in Fl.? Or did I make a wrong turn?!?

I also was up very early, and had snow on top of my outside furniture, and all my covers for my bushes! Luckily I warned my doggies while putting them out to take it easy, but they still went slipping and a sliding! My patio was a sheet of ice!
I pray that you are right and that we will be in the pool next weekend
Skating anyone??
Stay warm and safe folks!

Default If we could just get rid of the month of January

TV would be near perfect.
While what is on the roof this morning, mine included, is technically a gathering of more sleet than snow...it just looks too much like snow.
I guess by looking at the temperature map this morning, one would need to be living in the keys to escape this white/cold &^^%#$^%$%!!!!!!

Default And I'll Never Need It Again

F16 you might as well throw your ice scrapers away. You'll never need them there in sunny & warm FL. Someone told me this when we moved. Let me tell you my truck sits outside and it's covered with ice.

Wanted to rent: SNOW / ICE SCRAPER

Ditto F-16!! I just went to look outside, and my truck is covered with ice too! Brrrrrrrr!!!!
Yesterday I had a feeling this might possibly happen, so I treated myself to a beautiful bouquet of flowers at Publix to ease the pain of this cold weather, ice and snow! There is more now, than when I got up earlier!!
Looks like a good day to stay home and snuggle up with Mrs. F-16, Teddy and Patience....that will keep you toasty! Definitely not a fishing day I'm sorry to say.

They should make a movie of this historic event. Call it, "The Big Chill." Wait, the name's already taken. Any other suggestions?
