Did you put the video together? Loved the instumentals, the vocals and the lyrics...very nice work. I Googled your name and saw some of your artwork. The realism is awesome.The eyes in your paintings are penetrating. What does your avatar thingie mean, if you don't mind me asking? At first I thought the "all seeing eye" and then I saw your art website and the first thing I noticed was the eyes on some of your paintings (or lack of eyes in card players...loved it by the way). Thanks very much as well to both Bkcunningham1 and babspadget. I am somewhat embarrassed by your very kind comments, but do appreciate what you had to say, and will try to answer your questions as succinctly as possible.

My avatar is my logo and signature on my paintings. It consists of my initials... AFO, with a few additions. I turned the "A" into a triangle, and the "F" into a square. With the "O" representing a circle, my logo consists of the three basic geometric forms that make up all possible illustrations of 3 dimensional shapes. An important concept for us "artist types".

Additionally, I added the cross members (within the square) because they enable me to visualize the initials of everyone who has had a significant impact on my life and work. If you think of a digital display, you will discover that many letters of the alphabet can be found within that central form. Finally, the "S" shape within the "O" is my wife's first initial... she obviously holds a special place. And lastly, the "S" shape can also be interpreted as the "yin and the yang"... signifying the need for balance in all things. It's a little "off the deep end" I know.

Regarding the music, that was my first solo recording attempt... I hope a lot more will follow after we sell our home and get to TV. Regarding the video, yes... I did that as well.

Finally, since you picked up on my emphasis of the eyes in my work (as some say, the windows to the soul) I am posting a picture of my latest painting. It is titled "Vision of Promise" and it is of my primary model... young lady (not unlike our nation) who has been through a lot in her life short life, but is determined to make the best of it for herself and her children.

P.S. Due to the limitations of the TOV image sizes, the painting does not display all that well, but I tried to compensate somewhat by including a detail which also leaves room for improvement in image quality. I think the images may be a bit larger in my Album which helps a little.
