Default RJ Gators Closed tonight because of weather????

How dumb was that? RJ Gators had a sign on the door,

Closed because of cold weather....
No karaoke until next Wed.

What did the cold weather have to do with closing the restaurant?? I thought maybe Patrick was ill and maybe that's why they closed, but he wasn't. I met him over at Big City Grill and he didn't know they were closed until he got there tonight. Kinda strange, don't you think? That's okay, we proceeded to have a better time at BCG, so Gator's lost out on that one.

I am sure they had a good reason such as no heat. RJ Gators does a great business and the owner would not give up the revenue unless it was necessary.

I agree, there is probably a good reason. Let's not be too quick to criticize until we get the real info............

Default Closed

If they closed, they would be fined by Property Management for each hour they closed early.

Ouch! If they had a problem with their heating that's a triple whammy: repair, lost business and a fine. What's the rule on that? Do you know how much the fine would be?

It's in each lease. Heard from 4 businesses in Lake Sumter Landing today. All are without adequate heat all weekend and Commercial Property Management won't do anything about it. That's why R.J.'s closed. They want to force the issue, I guess. I don't blame them.

Each tenant is responsible for maintenance and operation of their heating and AC systems......not Commercial Property Management.
