Default Future build out

We'll be down in a week to look at lots, new houses and pre-owned but won't be moving for a couple of years... For those full-timers and long term residents - What is your opinion on where they will be building neighborhoods next? It seems that right now they are moving to building on the west side above Odell Circle. We'd prefer to be more centrally located even if it's a bit further south (we're hoping the new square will have a good dance spot! )

Will they continue to build north of Odell till the west portion is more or less full? or will they do some more building down by St. Charles soonish? Should we wait a bit longer (I'm getting itchy!)

I won't hold anyone to this! Just want some veteran input...

Just about everything east of Buena Vista (hemingway, duval, bonita, amelia) is done. Just a few spots remaining. So, now, building is going great guns in Pennecamp and St Charles... all west of Buena Vista and generally North of where Seabreeze meets BV at Baily Trail. They have already started spec houses at the far west border of the Villages where it meets CR 121 behind Redfish Run. My guess is they will work feverishly on Pennecamp and the next neighborhood will be Buttonwood (they already started the pool there) then Triggerfish then St James (down closer to Sandhill golf course). I believe these last 3 are the remaining new neighborhoods on the north side of 466A. My opinion is that they still have at least 2 years before they will cross over 466A and start building over there.

So, from what you stated, the area of St James, close to Sandhill might fit your bill.

These are all strictly random thoughts and personal opinion. I could be dead wrong on all of it.

When you say you want a more "central spot" ....central to what for south of 466A will not be cental to anything.

They are still building in Duval and have some empty lots here also. We think it is a central location because it is between LSL and the future Brownwood. Wherever you decide you will most likely be only a short ride by golf cart to one of the squares. Rec centers are also very close to all villages.

I assume they meant central from an east vs. west perspective.

Roughly just left of Canal close to BV is central w/e wise and LSL south (maybe around Virgina Trace) is central n/s wise. At least that's about what I get out of the maps.

I think V7 is correct on current build and prospective across the street build.

Default East -West central perspective

Yes, my intent was in an east-west perspective and generally centered north south between LSL and the future Brownwood. At least not off to onw of the far edges - not as close to the major north south streets of Buena Vista, Canal or Morse. Thanks for all the info!

I would look near the new Seabreeze Rec center based on the previous post. The designer models are right next to it. Or near the Duval Post boxes.

I would listen to villages07. They are right on the mark in my opinion.

Are there any updated maps available?
Is the $5 (may be more $ now) showing any of these villages, Buttonwood,Triggerfish and St James? I have a 2008 copyright $5 map. If so anyone know how I can buy one and have it mailed to my home in NC.

Thanks

You can order the $5 map from the LSL Mercantile store - 352-753-2129.

Try asking them if the new villages you mentioned are on there. There is a village index on the map.

They ship direct to your home.

Whenever I am somewhere that sells them, I ask and have yet to find an updated one... will post back when I see one....

Will be interesting to see how they 'package' the map once it contains south of 466A.

Look on the back of the map (when folded) and on the bottom line you will see a copyright statement. At the the beginning of the statement you will see the copyright year and at the end of that statement you will see a number containing the month that the map was printed.

The last map I have is dated 2009 and a 4/09. In late December I checked a couple of locations and they all had the same printing that I have. It does not show the villages of Buttonwood,Triggerfish and St James.
