Default Periphiral Neuropathy

My search feature doesn’t seem to work any more or maybe I just do not know how to use it properly. I know there was a thread about neuropathy treatments a couple of years ago. I’m curious now if anyone has found any relief from the many treatments being touted currently in the Daily Sun? I went to a Medical Marijuana seminar last week and I’m told periphial neuropathy is one ailment that responds very well to MM. has anyone tried it for that diagnosis? How about the pulse and light treatments? I’m sure there are many who suffer with me and would be interested in hearing any positive results!

Default Periphial Neuropathy

I've have PN for about 7 years. My feet are numb, burning & tingling. I've tried tens & light treatment. Nil results for me. I get some relief from Lyrica, 400mg. Don't use Davis Chiropractor clinic. Your reaction to these treatments might be different. I don't think that there is any magic bullet. Starting in October MM is legal in Canada. I look forward to trying it then. I won't bring it across the border.

I am sorry I cannot recommend a good practitioner, but I can tell you from personal experience to avoid Davis Chiropractic. There is nothing in their ads that I have found to be accurate. They have "branched out" to include a variety of treatments for other ailments, and even weight loss. Jack of all trades?

I wasn't clear about what peripheral neuropathy was and found this on Mayo Clinic site which I think is reliable source. I always thought that foot numbing was a sign of age but that isn't mentioned.

Here is something you may want to look into -

Peripheral Neuropathy, Nerve Pain and Painful Numbness Treatment - ReBuilder

This thing cured some painful tendonitis I recently had in just a matter of days and has helped my husband deal with carpal tunnel and resulting numbness in his fingers. It actually was invented and is marketed for peripheral neuropathy however. Do not mistake it for your typical TENS unit - it is much more than that. We have both and can tell you this works much better, at least for the ailments for which we used it.
