Default Pelham Parkway

Anyone on here from Pelham Parkway in The Bronx and lived near Lydic Avenue, Wallace Avenue or Brady Avenue?

Anyone on here from Canarsie, Brooklyn who lived in the Paerdegats?

Yep, Pelham Pwy and Williamsbridge Road, here.... Although I grew up near Westchester Square area. Floridagal, do you belong to the Bronx club? I want to join it but can never find out when it is.

Thumbs down Pelham Pkwy

I grew up in Da Bronx and graduated from James Monroe H.S. My wife and I joined the Bronx club about 3 years ago and did not find them very friendly.
they had apparently broken into cliques and unless you were invited by a member of the "clique" you felt somewhat uncomfortable being at the meeting. Needless to say, we gave it a couple of tries and decided there were better alternatives than going to such a parochial group.

I agree Whatever. I also did not find The Bronx Club very friendly and my husband and I stopped going after a few meetings. I also found that to be true of The Brooklyn Club.

If you want to go back to Da Bx. mentally especially Pelham Parkway. Rent Raging Bull (Jake Lamota) there are some seens in it where his house is showen on Pelham Parkway. Robert DeNiero is one of the best. Another is Bronx Tale which has a strong message that you dont have a stellar background to be a good father and raise you kids to be moral adults.

No, but I used to go out with a girl who lived out that way. We took the #12 bus to Orchard Beach. I grew up on Perry Ave across from St Brendan's on 207th St.

Hi Biker, Westchester Square was my home, but we hung out in Pelham Bay at the bowling alley just under the el... Can't remember its name, was it Fiesta Bowl??
I went to Evander Childs HS, I've met quite a few people here who went to my school also. Its fun, huh.

Barry, you know my brain "aint what it used to be" sorry... someday I will make it to the club.

I don't understand.

Westchester Square is shaped like a triangle. Why not call it Westchester Triangle?

It figures that KathieI is from there. Maybe she designed it.

Tony, if KathieI designed it, it would be shaped like the figure 8....
35-25-36.... hmmm, maybe that should be my weight goal, LOL....
Bet you thought I was going to say something naughty, huh?????

Hey, how do you know what its shaped like?? Don't tell me you lived near there too??
