Criminal on trial for homicides shouts 'I am not guilty' in court

This will give closure to all the students in two Reno, Nevada area high schools where the Mitchells taught as well as of the many co-eds affected by the slaying of Michelle Mitchell near the University of Nevada, Reno campus. And also for the five women's families in the San Mateo, CA area in early 1976 who were also probably murdered by Rodney Halbower.

I was one of those Reno area high school students and even received a small Memorial Scholarship in the name of Michelle Mitchell for the 1976-1977 school year. Used it for a small part of my tuition at the University of Nevada, Reno.

The day of the murder of Michelle Mitchell -2-24- is also my birthday and that saved me from being questioned in the murder of Michelle unlike some of my other Earl Wooster High School students who were questioned about their whereabouts and the like.

The detectives persued every lead available to them up to when this case was "solved" in 1979. Falsely as you can see. As Halbower is the main suspect in the murder of Michelle Mitchell.

Reno family wants justice for Michelle Mitchell

I see that the Michelle Mitchell family-- what remains of them-- are attempting to get Halbower tried in Washoe County for the 2-24 murder of Michelle.

It will be interesting to see what the District Attorney for Washoe County does with these requests. District Attorney's Office
