About a year ago, a guy joined solely for the purpose of "peddling his wares" here on Talk of The Villages. It's a business with him. When we asked him to discontinue the practice or purchase an ad, he became highly indignant, insulting and threatening, to the point we had to ban him. By the way, he first registered using his real name, so, we know who he is. He also sells this stuff on E Bay.

Anyhow, since that time, he has re-registered with different email addresses and these screen names:

• Alandc1937
• Alandc1938
• Best Brother
• BorisJ
• Best Bowler
• Best Bowlers Brother
• DumDumDum
• Elder Stud
• Flinston
• Forgetmenot
• PeeWee370
• PeeWee371
• Serendipity
• Coconut

All of those have been banned too. I'm sure there are some others that may have slipped by us.

The only name I left off the list was the one where he used his real name. I don't think it's fair at this point to reveal his identity.

For us, it's part of the job.

I'm a Moderator for City- Data forum. It is a hard and sometimes thankless job to keep the trolls out and to insure folks comply with the terms of service. Checking IP addresses, etc......

A big thanks goes out to all of you Mods for keeping the forum running smooth.
