Default Closest Rec Centre to our Village

Hello everyone,

Could someone tell me what is the closest rec centre to our village of Amelia. We are renting a house in May for a month and will be in the town of Amelia and wanted to know for sure which centre was the closest. I thought it was the Allamanda Centre but now I am not sure.

Any help would be so appreciated.

thank you,
sincerely,

It is Odell and Odell has the family pool and the mail drop at Hadley has the adult pool. Come on down. I probably will be sitting by the pool. Email me first and we can chat.

recommend checking the villages phone book on arrival. Loaded with info in front section. for example pg. 13 has a recreation map. Should be required reading as a source of info regarding the villages.
Also purchase a map (5.00) from banner mercantile or championship pro shops. It covers the villages even showing cart paths (in brown) that are not part of the streets. Best purchase I made for info...........Hope this helps.

Default TV Phone Book

How can we obtain The Villages phone book? Sounds like a great resource for those who are planning a move to TV, or even for those planning a visit. Thanks for the info.

We go to Odell. The closest adult pool to Amelia is, well, Amelia!

For your safety you should pick one you can reach without going thru a rounabout. Get a villages map and check it out.

We live in Amelia and are within easy walking distance to the Odell Rec Center and the Amelia Postal Center/Adult pool. The nearest Regional Rec Center is Colony Cottage, about 1.5 miles away. Lake Miona Regional Rec Center is probably 2 miles away, 10 minutes by golf cart. Both Regionals do require negotiating round-a-bouts if driving by car.

Hi Layaway,
Enjoy your stay! In addition to the closest recreation center, you might want to check out a few of the others. They are all lovely and have different themes and decorations. If there's a particular activity you like, and the times it is available at the closest rec center are not the most convenient for you, you'll be able to find the same activity at different times at another recreation center.

Can't wait to hear about your visit, so please keep us posted.

I don't see what all the fuss is about a roundabout. Take your time, open your eyes and drive defensibly. For Heavens sake, it's common sense!
