Default wild life

Going to move to TV, can someone tell us what kind of wild life is around? For example squirrels, groundhogs, skunks, etc?

hadn't seen any squirrels , groundhogs nor skunks. Maybe the relatively new construction has scared all the land ~critters~ away.

Lizards (geckos) are cool. Plenty of them and they eat bugs.
I've seen gators sunning in the pond. Turtles and fish in Lake Sumter.
Birds,, I've seen plenty of egrets, cranes, herons, vultures, gulls, and robins recently. An occasional pelican if he's lost LOL. I like the birdwatching.

My next door neighbor had a huge racoon sitting in their front yard the other night. I have seen a number of red foxes on Turtle Mound golf course. Black bears are around but I have never seen one in TV.

All golfers contend with monkey squirrels that have no fear of humans and will steal anything edible out of the golf cart.

We have beautiful bald eagles.... if you are lucky you can watch them swoop down on the ponds and fly off with a massive fish in their talons--- still the neatest thing I've seen in TV (at Glenview).

Hey Army Guy,
I just joined due to this fantastic downpour of a rainy day here in Bonita. I think I am going to be your across the street neighbor in Bonita if your new home is the one I am thinking about we're the Gardenia directly across from you on the corner. I have a cold one waiting for when you move in. Navy Vet to Army Vet.

Blue Herron, wish I would have known this weekend while we where down! I think with all the rain, we could have drank a few over war stories!
