The mystery bridge discussed in Golf cart bridges sited post has been located north of the Everglades Rec Center and is shown in the below video. Continued progress in the areas east and north of Fenney in the Villages of McClure, Linden, Marsh Bend, and Monarch Grove.

My latest flyover of the new construction areas is HERE.

GoldWingNut,

Can you do a flyover of the Dunkirk Christmas lights, just saw an article that this will be the last year for these?

By the way just watched your latest effort, and WELL DONE, very impressive, both you and the construction.

I have visited Dunkirk, done a test fly, and have a course programmed but I've been very hesitant to fly it at night because of the number of people there and the FAA rules about flying over people. Avoiding people on the golf course or on the roads is easy, this is not.

Default Golf cart bridge

Drove to Orlando today for Christmas. Saw the bridge section from the Turnpike. It looks way to small to be going over the Turnpike. I think it might be to go over some wet areas like the one near Brownwood.

Yes, I saw your video. That's why I was looking for the bridge. Still think it is not big enough to go over turnpike. Time will tell.

Really enjoy your videos. My husbsnd and son watch them too.

It's not going over the Turnpike, it's going over the outflow for the Hog Eye Sink for the multi-modal path. 4:44 and 11:20 both talk about that and show it's location. The bridge over the Turnpike will be about a mile north of this location near the power lines that cross the Turnpike. The construction work hasn't started yet for the bridge over the Turnpike.

Assuming TV keeps its promise, and it's schedule (history points to both assumptions being safe ones), we will see 2 major bridges constructed in the next 12 months. One will be over 44 at Brownwood dropping cart traffic to the bridge that was recently installed over the pond between the highway and the parking lot. The other will traverse the Florida Turnpike at the location GWN points out in the video. It will be fascinating to see how the turnpike bridge will be installed while keeping turnpike closure at a minimum. Once the work starts, I doubt there will be any mystery or confusion as to where it's happening or where the pieces are.

GWN, the videos you post of the growth in the southern area are amazing. We always look forward to the next one. We watch the progress daily from the ground but there is no comparison to the views from the sky.

I'm surprised at the pace they are working on the new ball fields. I know that the majority of ball players in TV are not looking forward to the proposition of potentially having to come down south to play, even though there are increasing numbers of us that make the trip north to play several times a week. Could make for interesting future controversy.

I'm sure there will be some complaining, there always is. The new ballfields will be about the same distance, or less as going to the polo fields for may of us. With the planned growth in the south end there is going to be a lot more teams and leagues formed to occupy the new fields.
