Default swimming lessons

Wondering...are beginner swimming lessons offered at any of the Village's pools? Both my wife and I can keep afloat - just barely. I've been told that swimming is one of the best forms of exercise and watching others do laps looks so invigorating. I can't dance either...maybe my 2 left feet will keep me from being a swimmer too?
Thanks,
Phil and Pat

I know that I have seen stories about this in the Daily Sun.

Have you checked the rec news and clubs for such events? http://www.thevillagesdailysun.com/c...ns/recnews.pdf

I haven't, Russ. Thanks, I will.
With 2 left feet you think I'll only be able to swim in circles?

I would think that there would be some contact numbers in there as well to call if you don't see it explicitly. I did see some beginner line dancing. But they did not specify foot dexterity

I believe there are some classes offered through the lifelong learning college. Diane Castle has taught them in the past at Lake Miona sports pool. Check out the course catalog.
