Default Golf Cart Questions (2)

There is usually talk on this msg. system about gas. vs. electric golf cart, or how long does a battery charge last?

Well, here are a couple of new ones (I think):

1) How long does a set of new golf tires last? [assumption: You use the cart nearly every day to bop around TV and drive to/play championship golf courses twice a week].

2) What does a set of golf tires cost?

I think I've got 'TV on the brain.'

I've got 5,100 on mine. Looks like they are about a third gone. For us that took about 16 months.

I think the issue of how many miles u go on golf cart tires is really a non issue. U can easily go a couple of years and then get a set of new ones for under $200.

Default Tires for $200? 15,000 miles?

A set of 4 new golf tires for a total of $200?

If that's true, that isn't bad. Thanks for the info.

5,100 miles and only 1/3 of tread gone; that's not bad either.

Default I got about 18 months

out of tires. The front tires go first. All pavement driving.
Keep your eye open for people that are selling brand new tires and wheels from their cart. They are change outs. The new owner probably wanted 10" aluminum wheels or something more exotic.
I bought four for $40.00. Brand new tires and wheels. A no-brainer.
