Smile Lowes 466A has water!!

Just a quick note to let you know Lowe’s on 466a just got in 10 pallets of water.

The manager there definitely wants the Villages area to be as prepared as possible

Or, just fill all of your pitchers, pots, etc out of the tap. Then just pour it down the drain after it is all over.

Why the big push for water unless your house has well water? They have emergency generators and water towers for our system.

I went to Lowe's at Trailwinds Thursday afternoon to buy a piece of rain gutter, I needed about a foot to extend the downspout. They had three cashiers besides the self-service, I got in the one that had one customer. The clerk was typing info about the people's credit and living history, apparently applying for a credit card. I looked to jump into the other two lanes and they both turned off their light. This continued for ten minutes and the line behind us began to grow, the clerk made the comment "I've been here two years but don't do this often". Finally a manager came over and I said, we've been waiting ten minutes. She said, "Just wait a Minute" and walked away. Finally a second cashier opened and she told us to come over, by the time we walked around, another person jumped in line in front of us, since they only had one item I said nothing. They had a problem with their credit card, it was declined, that lasted a couple of minutes more. That was the checkout from hell.

I have water in my tap! Doesn't everyone? Why buy water, unless you don't have any containers to store what you already have? Fill up a bathtub, make ice in Tupperware, etc.

Agree! I have milk and juice jugs full of water. Why rush to buy bottled water?

Don't forget to fill the bathtub with water for flushing toilets. Brian Norcross drilled that into our heads in south Florida when we were preparing for Andrew.

Some folks don't care for the taste of our tap water here in TV. Of course, in an emergency, will drink it if it is safe to drink.

TWC has been saying one gallon per person a day for three days. That is 6 gallons of water.

Doesn't take much for no water, no sewage, no power to happen during a hurricane. Just ask those in the panhandle.

I was in Publix at Colony and they had cases and cases of water at 2:30. I also filled up on 441 for gas. No wait.
