Default Closing on FSBO House

We just sold our FSBO home and have a signed contract from the buyers. We thought we would use the same Title Company (Peninsula) as when we bought our home. However, I have been trying for over a week to get this set up. I can’t get past the receptionist. She keeps saying someone will call me, but they don’t. I am getting very frustrated.

If you bought or sold a FSBO home, who did you use? Any problems? How did you go about setting it up?

I do remember from my Realtor years, that you cannot close on a home while a hurricane is still in motion.

Maybe they are busy with there potential closings being canceled this week.

Hang in there or maybe try another closing company.

Congrats on the sale of your home.
