Kiss's Military Salute...
Do not delete this email. The music will blow your mind. I always thought Gene Simmons & the band "KISS" were a bunch of strange people. But it seems I have been wrong on this issue. This was filmed in Iraq at a USO tour of a US Marine Base.

Very enjoyable! Sans makeup, they look like you and me.

Thank-you for that inspiring video. Remember when the whole entertainment field supported our troops?

It just proves that Gene Simmons really is just a nice, Jewish boy under all that makeup. They really are a good band and I'm glad they're still around. The nice thing is that our troops are still supported by entertainers -- that's something that's never changed and, hopefully, never will. For those who have served and are serving, thank you!

Makes you proud to be an American. I saw a few USO shows back in the late 60's, and while they were OK, they were nothing like what you see on this video. I don't think you can fake what they are doing for the troops. Kudos to that nutcase, Gene Simmons & Kiss.

Thanks for posting. I saw Gene Simmons interviewed on former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee's show a couple of weeks ago. Huckabee is a mean bass player and actually played with Gene and the band for the live audience. It was funny to watch Gene Simmons get up close to the very conservatively dressed women in the audience and sing to them. They smiled and applauded and acted like they loved it!

I always did like KISS as a younger guy.....goes to show that they have been around since the early 70's.

Was flipping channels one evening and caught the Gene Simmon's "Family Jewels" show where he was putting this USO tour together. It was very heartwarming to listen to his explanation for putting this show together. If you ever get a chance to see it in re-runs, it is definately worth watching.

Sure wasn't like this when I was pounding the seas during the early 70's.

Thanks for sharing the video. As the wife of a retired Army man, it brought tears to my eyes.
God Bless and keep our troops safe!
