Default LSSA ........ overlapping dates on bills

When I look at my LSSA bill I see overlapping (4-5 days) dates on the billing. For example: 5/17/19-----6/24/19, then next month 6/19/19 ---7/23/19, then next month 7/18/19 ----8/22/19.......... this double billing amounts to 4-5 days of billing every month. I cannot get any reasonable and understandable explanation for this from calling LSSA. Anyone else see this in their bill, and is this legit?

My bills list a "service period" each month and they don't overlap.

That does seem weird, but I don't think it is really important since you don't get billed for number of days used... only for the number of units of water used.

So, as long as the starting reading for the new period is the same as the ending reading for the previous period, then you're not getting billed for the same water usage twice.

Is there a meter on these houses where we can see our own meter readings? Every month I have overlapping dates

Every water meter that I've ever seen is in the ground. I suggest that you start taking readings on the (approximate) date that the water company is taking the readings. Then you can compare your reading to the water company's readings.
