Default Sidewalk repair

I need a concrete sidewalk repair person to fix a section of my sidewalk that has risen about an inch to create a trip hazard. Any recommendations?

First you need to determine why it has risen, check for tree roots, if these can be removed, you might be lucky and the concrete will settle back to correct height. If you do not find and fix the reason for the concrete rising, the new or repaired pad may do the same thing. A neighbor had a palm tree cause their driveway to start rising, they took out the tree. The driveway appears to be back to normal height.

We had someone cut the root that was lifting and cracking our patio. I was hoping that the separated root would dry out and the patio would drop back, but no such luck (maybe down a small %, but still a trip hazard). Looks like we'll need someone to jack-hammer the raised area and remove the root, leveling before relaying concrete. :-(

Glad that you found the problem, you may end up with a handyman that has a rig to mix small amounts of concrete, a cement mixer truck delivery has a minimum charge $$$. I am sorry I cannot provide any other advice as I have not needed this service.

Default Sidewalk Repair Clarification

Sorry, I guess I was not clear with my post. I am looking for a recommendation for a person or company to come out and fix my problem.

You’re question was clear. Call T&D. That’s what I did. They remedied the cause and made the repair. No armchair quarterbacking. Done.
