Default Dispute at truman rec center

so I've seen a few people hitting a pickleball back and forth at the parking lot at truman rec center. On this particular day a community watch person happened to see them. Well the fight was on. It's been a while since I've heard that type of language screamed in a public place. The f bomb and many other words spilled out of both the picklers and community watchers mouths. The were times when they charged at each other as if they were going to blows. Both parties were a disgrace. Now at the same time the picklers were hitting balls there were others gathered and one running a remote car in the lot and nothing said to them. What is right and what is not needs to be posted somewhere.

Others were gathered in the parking lot? Doing what? What day and time was this?

No attempt to get anyone worked up, intended more to keep these from happening again. There was an individual using a remote car in the parking lot and a couple different small groups of people visiting and keeping their distance. I have been here well over 10 years as well and have not ever saw this from a community watch either. As I witnessed this I was sure the authorities would arrive but didn't.

The OP sounds odd

neighbor behind me works for Community Watch...he says all they do basically is observe and get out of their vehicles to fix a road hazard issue

I doubt what you are saying is true. I will apologize later should I change my mind.

Yabbut this virus has emboldened some people to try to control other folks and boss them around. We’ve all heard about it. I fear they’re going to miss their newfound hobby when the crisis is over.

Could you imagine what it would be like if golf was shut down for 7 weeks? People getting tired of the BS. Any outdoor activities should be allowed with restrictions of course. It’s going to get worse the longer it goes. You can’t cram 100K plus in like sardines then take away all activities ( except for special golfers/money) they are paying for and expect harmony for even.

You can if the stakes are high enough. You can learn to hang if you hang long enough, I've been told.

I keep a tellin' you, that no one touches anyone else's ball in golf. They ride in their own separate carts, they do not pay with money, and they don't get close to one another. Golf is WAY different than racquet sports. Hardly anyone EVER yells at the official.

So says the golfer’s that are -really put. It’s not the handling of money it’s who making it that makes the difference.
