It's the only cable option for tv and internet. Not the only phone option.

CenturyLink is the local phone co. They have a bundle of phone, Dish tv, and internet. They require a 2 year contract on Dish portion of the bundle but the rest has no requirement as to time. They also sell phone and internet seperatly. This is their site http://www.centurylink.com/

Lots of people have Direct TV. Not just for the NFL Sunday Ticket, but that is enough!

Default comcast

im a newbie and never dealt with comcast before. we stopped in the store on 441 and procured the triple whatever. we pay approx $150 month for internet,tv, and phone. the installation guy was terrific and everything is wonderful. i really dont know where all these horror stories come from but i can tell you comcast is ok from my point of view!!!

What I like about Comcast in Florida is the snowbird rate. They will put your subscription on a very low rate, just a few dollars, if you are a temporary resident and away from Florida. We have Direct TV because of the NFL ticket, but I think that Comcast snowbird rate is wonderful. I wish somebody besides Direct TV offered the NFL ticket so the rates would be competitive. Just my opinion.

How does the NFL Ticket work? Can I watch my beloved New England Patriots every week?

Based on rules set out for Direct TV by the NFL, Fox and CBS: The NFL Ticket blacks out games that are being carrying by your local Fox and CBS networks ie. channels. So the only time you'd not be able to see a game on the NFL Ticket, or have the game blacked outed would be if the Patriots were playing Jacksonville or Tampa (I'm not sure what would be considered local in TV, I'd assume coming out of Orlando it would be Jacksonville and Tampa).

It also blacks out games carried in your local territory if it fails to sell out 72 hours before game time. Example: Sunday night (there's only one game on Sunday nights anyway), Monday night (there's only one game on Mondays) and Thursday (again, only one game on this night) night football and it excludes playoffs.

It is expensive IMHO, but apparently my husband can't survive without it connected to five televisions going in the garage. AND the HD stuff...

Hope that helps and I hope New England...well, never mind. Loyal NY Giants fan. Remember Pats: 18 wins and one Giant loss. Go Big Blue.

Is this Jim & Diane? We're sorry we're not going to be your neighbors too, but we are not that far away. We'll stop in to say hi when we get settled.

There are a number of options for phone... Vonage is cheaper and offers a list of standard features that usually cost extra... plus, you can probably take your existing phone number with you so nobody has to learn a new one.
