funny how wildlife is always around us, yet we very rarely see them in the wild because they blend in with their surroundings so well

We had barred owls in our neighborhood in Illinois - loved to hear them and, occasionally, see them swoop through our trees. Wasn't aware there were any in Central Florida, but glad to hear it. We'll be listening when things cool down so we can have our windows open.
