Looking for a recommendation of a good fabric cleaner for our front and rear bench seats on our golf cart. We have tried Resolve, but that doesn't really do the trick.
Also who around The Villages replaces golf carts seats with new fabric? This is our plan B if we cannot get our seats looking good. |

Depending what what type of fabric OXI-clean works good for me. Bucket of hot water, with some oxi-clean scrubbed in with scrub brush then wipe with towel, wet dry vac., set in sun to dry. I have the VGC captains seats 💺. With arm rests, head rests, lumbar support. Seat belt and arm rest dirt/stain hardest to be out.

I used to sell cleaning supplies on the commercial market.
I would use "Totally Awesome". Available from Dollar General, Home Depot, and Dollar Tree. Invariably the more powerful cleaners use a combination on butyl celosolve (2-Butoxyethanol) in a base solution (not acidic). Totally awesome will also dissolve the grease on the bbq grill. Not as powerful as oven cleaner but quite strong for a spray cleaner. Last edited by Toymeister; 10-31-2020 at 05:57 AM. |

Go to YouTube - type in “fabric car seat cleaning.”
There are many videos from car detailers showing products and techniques. |
