I've been fishing in some of The Villages ponds with live minnows. Is fishing with minnows illegal? I do release any fish back into the ponds and I do have a fishing license.

Good question, I have not tried live bait, just plastic worms (senkos). Many of the ponds have lots of small to medium size bass. I release everything I catch. I would never consider eating a fish caught in the Villages since so many chemicals (fertilizers and bug pesticides) all eventually wind up being drained/leached into the ponds. Fish On!
