Default Is your Direct TV working

we are getting an error 614...Video Connection Lost...had an representative on the phone helping but she hung up!

Trying to recall my 5 years as a DirecTV tech support trainer in a previous life (about 9 years ago). Is this on your main TV or on a secondary TV or all? That is generally an "internal" connection error between the DVR (server) and additional box(s). Generally you have to power EVERYTHING down and restart DVR first then add'l boxes. Like I said though it's been 5 years since I left their training dept. and not sure what other equipment they are using. 99% it's an internal in house issue.

EDIT: From DirecTV via Google: DIRECTV error code: 614, 615 or 616 Video connection lost between your Genie client and the Wireless Video Bridge or main Genie receiver.

Mine is fine , but try pulling the plug out for 20 seconds let it reboot
