Default Enlarging sliding door on stucco home

Has anyone taken out a 6 ft slider and replace it with a larger slider? The home is stucco.

I realize there are headers and lots of things to consider. I just want someone who has had this done to recommend a construction company that did theirs.

One additional item to consider, if your home is several years old you may not be able to match existing tile, and you will need additional tile. I have not had this done, but T&D did a lot of work for neighbors with very good results. Good luck with your project.

We had the standard sliders removed and replaced with 8 foot high, 5 panel stackable sliders.
We used Fortin construction........they were not the low bidder, however they do all the design work themselves....once they hear what you want they will offer suggestions to make the effect better looking or more efficient.
While they work they are very clean work area intense. At the end of the day 100% cleanup.

When the job is done it is impossible to note there has been an alteration.
They will most likely have several jobs in line.....worth waiting !
