Hopeful that the new county commission truly weighs the effect of increased impact fees. I didn't like the big jump in property taxes and don't support huge impact fees. Middle ground needs to be found that won't hinder home development and cripple homeowners with high taxes.

The Florida Impact Fee Law states how impact fees are to be calculated. If that law is followed there will be no problems.

Don’t you mean the goose that laid the golden egg finely ran out of the gold? Sumter county taxes has been extremely low for several years. Time to pay the piper like rest of us.
