Default Xfinity remote replacement

Anybody know of a universal replacement remote for the Xfinity box- the one that came with it is very user unfriendly. Does not even have a prior channel function. Looked at the Logitechs but they are too involved . thanks

Sounds like you need to trade that one in at Comcast. I've had comcast for 10 years and have never seen a remote that outdated.

If you don't want to go to Comcast you can always buy one from Amazon, they carry most remotes.

Ours is less than 2 years old and is very user friendly, to go back to the last channel you just hit the white arrow next to the blue microphone symbol. When they installed ours the guy told us that they just go these in and we were the first he was installing with the new boxes and controls. If you don't have the microphone and back button you have an old set rather than their latest.

Here is a photo of mine, this I believe is their latest one. Note the white back arrow on the bottom left.

They shouldn't have to buy one, Comcast should give it to them. Also, is it compatible with their older boxes? I would call them and ask, I have found they have very good customer assistance.

Comcast will absolutely replace them at no charge. I’ve done this several times, and never have I been asked why I was swapping them.

It’s extremely cheaply made remote!
Notice their equipment
“Designed in Philadelphia with Love
Made in China”

It will only get worse now!

Have you tried the voice command on the remote? Just hold the microphone looking button down and say NBC or ESPN or whatever you are looking for like “ golf tournament today”
