Question Landscape rock mulch

The red rock mulch surrounding our 16 year old house is now so infiltrated with dirt that it is a perfect medium for growing weeds. We also do not like the appearance of the dark, angular stones. Has anyone hired a company to remove and replace the landscaping rock mulch around an older Villages home? Any recommendations on companies you liked or hated would be appreciated. Information on the cost would also be welcomed.

In 2011 I hired Terrascape when my CYV was new. They removed the pine straw front and back, put in a small windmill palm and installed weed block mating and then 10 tons of copper rocks, it was two workers working all day, and cost $2500, that was almost ten years ago.

In 2019 I hired them again to refresh my front yard. They repaired my retaining wall, installed 15 new shrubs, repaired my sprinkler system, I have individual sprayers on every plant, they brought in 2 tons of rock to refresh the top of the beds. They trimmed my sylvester palm and my queen palm. It was four workers working all day and cost $1900.

Terrascape is on Hwy 301 just north of Wildwood and south of Rainey Trail on the west side. They have their own 10 acre nursery, so all the shrubs they use come from in house. Ask for Megan, she does the design work if you need any changes made and helps with selection of shrubs if those are necessary. Their website appears to be down, so here's their Facebook page. Here's our front yard after a few months and they had made the refresh. That's copper rocks in the back and white river rocks along the curb. The red rocks are terrible for showing debris and leaves and anything else, I have neighbor now removing them.
