Default Got a taste of going maskless walking inside a restaurant

Hubby and I drove a couple of hours drive away from The Villages today. We went to a restaurant that did not require their employees or patrons to wear a mask. We dined outside but I did walk through the restaurant to go to the restroom. I made the walk without a mask just to see what it felt like. Boy oh boy, was that liberating! It was also quite weird to see not one person wearing a mask anywhere in that restaurant.

Don't get me wrong. I am still very thankful that establishments in and around The Villages still require masks. That is still the way to go at this point for the safety of everyone, IMHO.

1. congrats on being vaccinated!
2. I've gone inside restaurants without wearing a mask. It felt - awkward. World of Beer doesn't have a "must wear mask" sign, and I've seen the bartenders and wait staff without their masks on throughout the pandemic. Until the last time I was there, I've been masking into their building and only taking the mask off after sitting at the table. This last time, as I said, was awkward. I felt like I should leave and put the mask on and then go back in. But that would've been silly.

I feel liberated wearing a mask as I know I could be saving someone’s life!

Thank you for your congrats. I have not ever been in World of Beer so I did not know their mask policy. I'm surprised any establishment around here would not at least have their employees mask up. That really surprises me. Thanks for letting me know. I won't ever consider giving them my business.

Thank you for perpetuating this pandemic. We could not have done it without you.
