Default Repair of Bradford Exchange Xmas decoration

I have a Bradford Exchange Christmas decoration that involves a motorized miniature train riding up a mountain with dwellings populating the circular climb. It has Santa and his sleigh circling above the "mountain", plays carols and lights up. Or, it used to. It stands about 18 inches high.

Last Christmas it would no longer light up. I contacted BE, but they do not service these expensive ornaments. I'm wondering if anyone who follows this forum can repair it, or knows someone who could. It was one of my favorite Christmas items. It used to charm the grandkids when they were wonder tots, now teens.

Thank you in advance. RW

Does this plug in or is it battery operated, I am curious. I am a retired electrical engineer, I would be willing to look at it. Send a PM with your contact info if you would like me to look at it.
