Default Lost Wallet

My friend DAVID lost his wallet Monday in the area of the Chula Vista pool and towards his home in Rio Grande (west of Chula Vista pool on Rio Grande.

If you find DAVID's wallet please PM me.

He has no computer and no LISTED address in TV because he recently moved here.

Since anyone who find the wallet won't have a way to contact, I suggest he do two things: (1) check with La Hacienda Rec Center -- that's where lost and found items are taken; (2) check with the LSL Sales Office in case someone turned it in there; (3) have someone faithfully check his mail at his former residence -- it could have been found and mailed to him there since they may think he was just a visitor here.

Hope he finds it. At least he'll have a better chance of having it returned here than most places.

Default If your friend has not already contacted the Sheriff's office

I lost my wallet about 6 months ago and someone up by Lake Weir had found it along Highway 25 and called me about 48 hours later. I had lost it by the Belvedere gate. It had fallen out somehow while I was trying to get out my Villages passcard.

I still cannot understand how that happened.

Anyway, all but the cash was there. I had cancelled the credit cards, library cards and the like as soon as I discovered my wallet was missing and had then reported it to the Sumter County police department. Within a half hour of calling the police a Sumter County Sheriff's car pulled into our driveway and a deputy had taken a statement about the lost wallet.
