On this day where we remember and reflect on the cowardly attack by believers in Islamic superiority, and remember our fallen brothers and sisters who perished in that unholy conflagration, and the countless heroes of that day; I wonder how many people believe, as I do, that the threat to our nation and way of life is as real now as it was in the minutes before the first plane hit the first tower.
Our grandparents understood what to do in war, but we "modern" people have utterly forgotten. I'm posting 2 articles; the first being a great article by Andrew McCarthy talking about the myth of a mainstream peace loving Islamic faith, and the second by Arnold Ahlert reminding us to remember war as our greatest generation knew it. We are being lulled into a fantasy land of believing that our enemy is not our enemy. http://bigjournalism.com/fross/2010/...agining-islam/ http://www.nypost.com/p/news/opinion...qszjqqoXye36FL |

Meanwhile in this country, we ban God from everything we can including our pledge, we do not condemn the burning of bibles or flags, we attempt to make peace with people who have said they want to kill us and want no peace, and at the same time, we criticize ourselves as responsible ! We have many faults and have done and will do a lot more things wrong, but the self flagellation we engage in while stumbling over ourselves to insure that we are politically correct while allowing our selves to be controlled by these influences amazes me. |

We have become a nation of permissiveness. We have gone so far that we do not even enforce select laws to accomodate select minorities or to promote political influence or favors.
Our core values have been and continue to be diminished. I too believe it will, unfortunately take another life taking event of Americans to bring us to our senses that we are being had at the same time we are being given away. I just hope the day of reconciliation and return to past values has not been too long ago given away to recover. btk |

![]() every American should read the Koran. It is a very enlightening book. If you want to cut to the chase I recommend "the politically incorrect guide to Islam (and the Crusades)" by Robert Spencer. It is quite enlightening. Read it and then verify the information by cross-referencing the Koran. I am sure that most people here would be shocked. Yoda |

BBQ: For those of us who have a large pile of books in our Inbox, what's the gist of the author's opinions concerning what's happening in Europe? Is it economic discussion? Political? Just curious as I'm headed there shortly.

It is first and foremost demographic and the impacts of changing demographics on Europe's culture and way of living. He discusses that the 'native europeans' have birth rates well below that which would be required to maintain a steady population. In some countries such as Russia, Spain and Italy, the trend has gone on at such a rate that reversal is for all intents ad purposes irreversible.
Meantime, there has been a massive migration from the Islamic countries in North Africa and the Middle East. The European Islamic population has a birth rate that is very high. One easy to understand result is that over 30% of the under 18 population in France is Muslim. |
