Cool America's Got Talent

Been watching this season from Germany. My opinion, it's some of the best talent I've seen on this show. Just checkout the video below and remember that she is ONLY 10 YEARS OLD! Simply an amazing gift!

I totally agree...this years talent is amazing! Jackie is, by far, the most talented. However, I don't think she will take the million dollars. They are looking for a Vegas act so I think it will be either the magician (David G.. something) or the "Defying Gravity" act. We DVR everything, so I haven't seen the last show yet...they could be gone already, as far as I know.

Jackie Evancho will move on to much bigger and better things...we will be hearing her name for some time to come. I could just sit there all night and listen to her sing!

We have been watching each week also. There are, or were, several acts that would be great for Vegas. We have only been to Vegas once and when we did, we went to see Terry Fator, who won America's Got Talent a couple of years ago. That was a great show and anyone going should see it.

We have been gauging what we see on AGT as to what we would pay $100+ to see and could put on a show for an hour to an hour and a half. The only ones so far that could possibly pull this off, in our opinion, would be the magician, Prince Poppycock or Defying Gravity. Of these, we would choose Defying Gravity, simply because it's so much different from anything else and so original.

Jackie is wonderful, but I just don't think she could do that great singing for an hour to an hour and a half for 2 shows a night 5 nights a week. In a few years, maybe.

What a pure voice. It's like listening to a bell ring. She reminds me of Charlotte Church, another young girl from a few years ago that also had the most amazing voice.

Getdul981.... I agree with you. It would be a tough gig for a 10 year old to have a headline act in Vegas...

Prince Poppycock, on the other hand ??? Talk about someone with a split personality...unbelievable transformation. Plus, he is very entertaining and I could see him doing a Vegas show. Same for Defying Gravity.

Terry Fator was fantastic, but the year he won, I don't remember the competition being so fierce. He was head and shoulders above his nearest competitor. With the 4 acts left, I cannot call it...it's anyone's to win, I think.

I don't think the fact that Jackie Evancho is a 10 year old opera singer diminishes her chances of winning this show. It is decided by people's votes and not by Vegas talent agents. It's as much a popularity contest as a talent contest and Jackie has both, in spades.
The top 4 are a very talented group and all ,evidently, have a fan core already and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top. They'll be no room for error on Tuesday.

You're right Rich, it isn't up to any judges, except the american public. Jackie certainly has the talent, and I'm sure the majority of the people that vote could care less about whether she could do a Vegas show. She will probably win, but what I was saying was who SHOULD win.

I will be interesting to see how they handle her as a headliner in Vegas what with the child labor laws and stuff like that.

Not to even touch her fantastic voice, what also amazes me is her poise.

Valid concern but as far as the headlining show in Vegas - it's one night appearing with the other 9 finalist (just like in all the other cities on the tour). The other part of the prize is a million dollars that they pay that out over 40 years. This show is really about the exposure it gives you.

It seems to me that the wealth of talent is due to the fact that there will be nationwide tour of the top ten acts starting soon. There is no way that they could have done that with the top ten acts of the previous five years!

Paul -I was under the impression that the headline Las Vegas show was an ongoing show in Las Vegas, like Terry Fator is doing now. The thing you're talking about is the nationwide tour for this summer. Two different things unless I misunderstood.

Default One vote for each.

Like them all......
  • Jackie - Odds-on favorite .. voice like an angel .
  • Michael Grimm - My favorite.. great R&B singer. He may make it big.
  • Prince - The most unique & entertaining act I've ever seen.. Always different .. Always makes me smile.
  • Defing Gravity - Amazing .. next Blue man Group .. watch for road company in your city

She is sooo amazing in talent, poise, and humility.....she really deserves to win and hope she does. Hearing her sing gave me goosebumps it was so very pure and for me to not even understand the language, she is the best....b
