Wink Stone Rise Granite and Tile

Karen and Bob Whelan. Village of Santo Domingo. We just updated our kitchen. New appliances, painted cabinets and walls and put in quartz counter tops.

Fortunately we choose to use Stone Rise Granite and Tile to work in our kitchen. The staff of Stone Rise totally listened to my concerns, explained choices, showed me products and gave me clear understandable plans. The work occurred in the time frame they set up. The employees were always on time and always mannerly and polite. In the past I have bought several "fix uppers" and renovated homes. By far this is one on the best companies I have worked with.

Stone Rise Granite and Tile had plumbers working for them. "Big A Services" plumbing company came in to replace some of the old pipes and drain, Brandon Artman and Dakota Allen were absolutely wonderful. I wanted a particular type of faucet in the kitchen sink and they found it.

Thank you for sharing your great experience, quartz counter tops are on our short list of upgrades to do before we move to The Villages full time.

Why quartz and and not granite? Isn't quartz a manufactured product and not a natural product?

We are told it will require much less maintenance and yes it is a man made product.

Stone Rise did a fantastic job with our Quartz Countertops. We are very pleased. We also had a new sink, faucet and disposal put in. The plumbers came the next day on time and installed. Stone Rise is wonderful!

First post since joining TOTV TEN YEARS ago! That must be a record! Long overdue welcome!

I do agree with you, they did our kitchen and 2 baths with granite and tile when we moved in about 3 years ago and were great in every way. IIRC they were relatively new to the area back then and their pricing was literally ONE HALF of 2 other estimates we were given for the identical tile and stone. Seems everyone gets their stone from that place on Rolling Acres so it's easy to compare as you can go there and pick out the actual slab you want.

Here it is a year later after Karen's comments and my wife and I underscore all the positive accolades that have been said about Stone Rise. Polite and professional staff at their location on Rt 44 in Wildwood is a most fair description. Their pricing for our kitchen quartz countertops and backsplashes was less expensive than 2 other local providers. We were given a schedule estimate when we signed the contract in early May for installation in late July - and Stone Rise maintained that schedule throughout. We are very pleased with the results, as well as the work done by Mark and Dakota of "Big A Services" which is the plumbing company subcontracted by Stone Rise. The project experienced a major bump in the road the day of installation when the back splashes did not fit because they were either incorrectly measured or incorrectly cut, as well as the first crew of installers could not manage a one piece installation for the sink and side counters areas. At 5 o'clock on that day, Stone Rise took total ownership of the problems and rather than blaming others, as is the normal course of action these days, it went out and solved the problems. By 9 am the next morning we were fully informed of when its "problem solving crew" would arrive - and it did; how the plumbers' arrival time had been rescheduled and by 6 PM that day the problematic one piece unit was resolved, the back splashes were cut and fitted properly, the sink and plumbing hookups all done and we are fully satisfied with the finished product. We all like to have home remodeling projects go seamlessly and smoothly; the hallmark of a company with integrity is how it responds when a project experiences a glitch - as did ours. Stone Rise's reaction to it and correction of the problem was extraordinary and on that ground alone I would recommend Stone Rise without hesitation or qualification.
