Default Lake Okahumpka Park walk about

Lake Okahumpka Park | Sumter County, FL - Official Website

Took a walk outside the bubble today. If you haven't been here, and like to walk in the shade, this is a beautiful county park a couple of miles from Morse Rd and 44.

The Villages Florida

I think it is a him and a her, I hope someone that actually knows can clue me in.

The Villages Florida

Him? (Hims are always the pretty ones in nature - what happened to humans?)

The Villages Florida

Her?

The Villages Florida

Fury Tailed Rats are everywhere! This one is enjoying an acron.

The Villages Florida

I see you seeing me - a Dragonfly staring back at me.

The Villages Florida

A boat ramp for those that would bring their boat - yachts are discouraged.

That makes more sense. The red head had 3 tan heads with it, and I was puzzled because I didn't think they had harems... So it is probably a female with her chicks. And there were 2 red heads with the three tan heads. One of the red heads saw me and made a fuss and flew off, so I assume it was trying to lure me away.

Thank you

Walk it all the time, if you do all the loops it approx 2 miles. 60% in the shade, lock your car, hide valuables, there have been breakins
